Individual Counselling
One important element of therapy involves helping you to understand the causes of your problems and to learn tools and strategies to change. This can include equipping you with psychological knowledge relevant to you, and helping you to apply that knowledge effectively in your life. It can also provide you with an important source of support and understanding, and at times, a process of healing, recovery and growth.
Individual sessions are weekly for fifty minutes. I work at your pace, exploring and processing thoughts, emotions and behaviour within relationships and other contexts. As I get to know you in the early sessions of your therapy, the form of therapy will take shape, determined by your circumstances and specific needs. Together we will keep track of your therapy as it progresses, reflecting and reviewing along the way.
